Welcome to the Stout Disc Golf Club in Menomonie, WI
The Stout Disc Golf Club is a campus organization of UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI which is part of the Chippewa Valley. The Valley is home to many fine disc golf courses and hundreds of players that play recreationally, in leagues, and tournaments.
The club consists of a wide range of players from students who have never played to advanced competitors. We participate in events around the Upper Midwest including local leagues and tournaments, the UMCDGA collegiate tour, PDGA sanctioned events as part of the Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour, and many other socials and fundraisers. Most of the events we attend are funded by the club, allowing members to participate at very minimal costs to themselves.
SDGC and the Community
The Stout Disc Golf Club promotes disc golf in many ways. Through fundraising and Stout Student Association budget allocations, we have been able to spread disc golf to thousands of Menomonie students K-12 and college. The club has constructed three free-to-play courses in Menomonie: The club managed Brickyard, the campus SDGC Practice Course, and the Menomonie Middle School DGC complete with the Educational Disc Golf Experience (EDGE) Program and portions of the course being ADA friendly. Other Menomonie courses include Lambs Creek at the Pioneer Grill and Saloon and Wakanda Park.
The club has donated several instructional disc golf DVD's and tournament DVD's to the UW-Stout, Menomonie Middle School, Menomonie High School, and Menomonie Public Libraries. During the summer of 2009, the club held a clinic at the Menomonie Middle School with top professionals Dave Feldberg, Avery Jenkins, and Valerie Jenkins teaching over 40 participants how to develop their skills. The club has also worked with the Dunn County Child Obesity Coalition, helping to demonstrate disc golf as a healthy lifelong activity to numerous families.
;
We live by the famous words from the father of disc golf, Steady Ed Headrick, "He who has the most fun wins!"

Further planning of the Spring Break trip and the Waterfront Lake tourney fundraiser. Bring your notebooks, pens, laptops, and tons of ideas - have ideas, questions, etc. written down before you show up! Think logistics, destinations, activities, food, lodging, transportation, other fun, etc.
Start asking around for sponsorships and donations. Try to bring a couple to the meeting as a goal. There will be benefits for those who acquire the most goods/donations.
We are going to make the next couple meetings efficient, so be prepared and on time. This is mandatory for spring break attendees. This is so important that if you do not show, you will lose a percent of your funded coverage that you will then have to cover yourself. This is only for everyone's overall benefit, because these group decisions are extremely important.
Meeting time is now Thursday at 7pm in the Sunken Lounge!!! Don't be late!
